We are currently looking for a Prepress Technician to join our dynamic team.
This is you:
- A multi-talented individual who can easily handle a mix of graphic design and prepress work. Perhaps familiar with color management and profiling.
- A fast paced work environment is your jam.
- A prepress ninja who easily transitions through the work with speed and accuracy.
- A committed team-player who creatively juggles the art of design with the technical requirements of the prepress process, but who works independently, producing quality work without a lot of oversight.
- Effective communication is your superpower.
- Have command of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Pitstop on both Mac and PC.
- You may even have direct mail skills to bring to the table.
- Be able to prioritize time-sensitive orders, reviewing and resolving problem orders in a timely manner.
- Enjoy color correcting and make similar recommendations/adjustments to print files per project requirements.
- Have a solid work ethic with a positive attitude, used to being a contributing team player.
- Dig in to solve RIP issues and are passionate about automation, which could include some knowledge of programming languages such as XML and HTML.
- Preflighting
- Trap editing
- Imposition
- Color correcting
- Proofing
- Spectrodensitometer and color management
- Setup finishing operations (as related to layout and prepress)
- Troubleshooting customer files
- Kodak Prinergy workflow
- W2P integration tasks
- Work directly with Project Managers and customers
- Maintain department equipment
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
